A tribute to Rapperswil
For the past two years, Mama Tierra has had the pleasure of collaborating with Alpa Concept, a beautiful concept store in the heart of Rapperswil that celebrates craftsmanship, creativity, and carefully curated brands.
Alpa Concept hosted Pop Up by the Lake on Sunday, 3 May at the elegant Hotel Schwanen. Mama Tierra was honoured to be among the selected exhibitors, joining other inspiring women-led businesses for an afternoon dedicated to creativity, entrepreneurship, and meaningful encounters.
The event provided the perfect opportunity to introduce Mama Tierra’s Rapperswil Collection, a tribute to one of Switzerland’s most enchanting towns. The design brings together Rapperswil’s iconic castle, its picturesque old town, the lake, and the roses that have earned the city its nickname, the “Town of Roses.”
The collection includes a Clutch M and an XS Pouch, both handcrafted by Wayuu artisans in organic cotton. More than souvenirs, they celebrate the beauty, history, and unique atmosphere of Rapperswil while creating dignified work opportunities for the Wayuu indigenous artisans.

Mama Tierra is deeply grateful to Alpa Concept for two wonderful years of collaboration and for creating spaces where design, craftsmanship, culture, and community come together so beautifully.
If your next visit takes you to Rapperswil, be sure to stop by Alpa Concept, where the Rapperswil Clutch M and Pouch XS are currently available. It is a wonderful way to take home a meaningful reminder of this charming lakeside town while supporting the Wayuu artisans who brought the design to life.
